Client side Firefox translation demo
Hello Everyone! Currently the awesome W3C Workshop on Web and Machine learning is happening and we are proud to participate and deliver an update to the Bergamot project, together with a live demo! Please watch our talk Privacy focused machine translation in Firefox and if you are interested, start a discussion on Github.
Unlike the previous demo, this one:
- Has everything running locally on a single machine; no translation service on the cloud.
- Is much much faster.
- Has translation quality estimation.
Enjoy! We still have lots of polishing to do, but the core functionality is there. Stay tuned!
